A question for a central heating engineer
|
The timer on my boiler has a loose connection of some sort and sometimes requires small tap to get it to turn the boiler on. The boiler itself is fine. It's having a safety inspection next week, will this cause it to fail?

No, it won't fail the safety check. Safety inspections are to ensure gas safety i.e. Gas pressures, burner, combustion chamber and flue gas analysis.

Does this timer control the WHO clock without your knowledge? If so, then fixing it will cause some posters' heads to explode.
